The Somers Water Recycling Plant (WRP) plays a vital role in the collection and treatment of wastewater for the surrounding area.
The Somers WRP produces Class C recycled water, contributing to a more sustainable water future by supporting appropriate non-drinking water uses and reducing pressure on drinking water supplies. The plant treats wastewater generated by local homes, businesses and visitors, supporting the growing needs of the region. The Boneo WRP produces Class A recycled water, the highest quality recycled water available, for approved residential, agricultural and irrigation uses.
There are no current upgrades occurring at the Somers WRP. We'll keep this page updated and notify the community once details of any upgrades progress further.
