Supporting a sustainable future

The Blind Bight Water Recycling Plant (WRP) plays a vital role in the collection and treatment of wastewater for the surrounding area.

Recycled water produced at the Blind Bight WRP supports sustainable water management and helps secure future water supplies by reducing demand on drinking water resources for approved non-drinking uses. The plant treats wastewater from the local community, and produces Class C recycled water, providing an alternative source of water for suitable non-drinking purposes and helping reduce reliance on precious drinking water supplies.

We recently undertook works to upgrade the Blind Bight WRP and have now completed these. There are currently no planned further upgrades but we'll keep this page updated and notify the community of any future planned upgrades.
